Window Hall

Long 3rd class scramble approach from Southern Blend area. Many variations and un-done lines exist here.

Ricky Oliver at the entrance for scale. Below this cliff line is the dam that connects the North mountain to the West mountain.

Dabsicle V5 – yellow – begin on the thrilling left hand side-pull jug and the right and side-pull jug near the cliff edge. A spotter can safely spot the climber using the tree branch for support. Traverse the wall from left to right. Finishing on Pistol Grips. Variation: V2 climb to the “Dirty Smirk” and drop.

Dirty Smirk V1 – white – begin sitting down using the deep huecos. Climb up and right to gain the “Dirty Smirk” hand ledge. Drop off for V1 or continue climbing traversing right and finishing on several variations.

Sacrifice V1 HB – purple – climb the tall overhang packed with huecos to the top staying on the face.

Right of Sacrifice

Starting low in a cluster of huecos, move left to larger holds until you can bust out to the lip on small but good holds. Keep it together to surmount the lip.

Right of Smash and Grab.

Starting on low huecos left of a yucca, make moves to gain obvious pocket. Pull into the next hueco cluster with a menagerie of options. Gain larger holds to top out.

Mexican Radio V1 – blue – climbs the section of rock with good iron crimps/flakes to the hueco line. A contrived sit-down start exists.

Pistol Grips V2 SDS – yellow – begin sitting down on good huecos. Climb up and right following the sloped ledge – huecos. Then climb up and over the small scoop to big huecos leading to the top. This is also the standard finish to the long traverse called Dabsicle.
