Pink Adrenaline on page 80 in the J. Sherman guide is a thrilling lead climb in itself. Yet the aid section below it still awaits a first ascent.

The start stone. The direct and obvious start to the first pitch below Pink Adrenaline. Back in the 1960’s the start followed the low angle crack to the right of this stone. Dubbed the “Stairway to Heaven” section. The first aid (Leeper) is 45 feet above this stone.

Striking the center of the huge buttress. The first pitch leads from the right end and heads to the belay station at the base of the vertical crack in a large right facing dihedral. The crack “Pink Adrenaline 5.11+” is the second pitch straight up the crack to the top. Five old pins protect the line.

To the left of the large, right facing dihedral is a vertical crack that takes on the most difficult and exposed overhang of the buttress.
